“The In Between Traveller should act as an inspiration for people to travel the world and enjoy amazing individual adventures, even while working a regular 9-5 full-time job and only getting a limited amount of paid leave (paid holidays/annual leave”, says Sabrina. She encourages other to take time off their routine lives and explore the world.
‘Getting some time off is important for your soul, but having only a few paid days per year can make it difficult to step out of your comfort zone and leave the sofa. That’s a reason, a lot of people don’t even try doing something different.’
She further shares: ‘Sharing stories about previous holidays and itineraries that work for „short“ visits up to a maximum of 2 weeks, hopefully inspires more to do the same. Taking myself as an example, I want to show that it is possible and you can do much more in a 10-day break that you would ever imagine.’
She acknowledges that it is hard to take time out from everyday commitment but emphasizes that it is doable. She said, “However, becoming an adult brings a lot of commitments into your life, such as job, family, pets, etc., these can sometimes hold people back from a holiday, but at the end I believe you just have to plan it right and can make it happen. Therefore I’m also sharing some planning tricks & travel tips on the blog that can help solving some of the most common issues.”
Sabrina shared, “I’m just a „girl next door“ with the vision to visit as many places as I can in my life, I have to work to reach this goal and this is the biggest difference to a lot of blogs from all nomad travel blogs. The name is supposed to show exactly this – THE IN BETWEEN TRAVELLER – stands for travelling while life happens.”
